The Silverwood Trio can provide music for any occasion. The trio consists of flute, oboe, and cello and its members are professionally trained musicians with years of performance experience. The trio performs at weddings, receptions, outdoor concerts, and parties.

Michelle Barraclough, flute
Michelle is a native of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. She holds a BFA in Flute Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from Catholic University. Michelle performs locally with the Greater Harrisburg Concert Band, York Symphony Orchestra, Central PA Oratorio Singers, and the Susquehanna Chorale. Michelle is currently Adjunct Professor of Flute at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA, where she teaches lessons, pedagogy, and coaches flute ensemble. Michelle lives in Elizabethtown, PA with her husband and daughters.
Kirstin Myers, oboe
Oboist Kirstin Myers earned her BS in Education and Oboe Performance at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a minor in piano. In 1999 she also graduated summa cum laude as a full scholarship recipient from Michigan State University with a MM in Oboe Performance. Since the year 2000, she has been on the faculty of Millersville University as Double Reeds Professor as well as the Oboe Professor at York College of PA. She has been a featured soloist with the Johnstown Symphony, the IUP Symphony, the New Holland Band, Lyric Band of Hanover, and the Garden Spot High School Band. She has also been a featured soloist with choral groups such as the Wheatland chorale, the Susquehanna Chorale, and has performed with the Lancaster Opera Company. While in Michigan she served on the faculty of Alma College and performed with such groups as the Greater Lansing Symphony, the West Shore Symphony, the Jackson Symphony, and the Midland Symphony Orchestra. Kirstin was also 1st oboist of the New Holland Band for 16 years until her retirement in 2006. Her primary teachers include Daniel Stolper, William McMullen, Robert Lloyd, and Kim Webster. In addition to maintaining a private studio and working as a freelance artist, she is currently a member of the York Symphony Orchestra, the Reading Pops Orchestra, the Keystone Winds, and the Silverwood Trio. She resides in the Lancaster area with her two children.
Brenda Johnson, cello
Brenda earned her B.S. in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in cello and piano. She graduated summa cum laude with a Masters in Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia. She is currently the high school orchestra director for Northeastern School District and teaches privately in York. Brenda is a cellist with the York Symphony Orchestra, the Silverwood Trio, and the string quartet, No Strings Attached. She also works as a freelance artist in the York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg areas. Brenda currently resides in York with her husband and two sons.
